Board of Directors
Kent Wyatt
Kent P. Wyatt is the Chairman for the Memorial Health System Board. He was appointed to the Memorial Health System Board in April 2002 and was elected in May 2003.
He is the Vice President of Astra Bank in Abilene. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Economic Development Council for the City of Abilene, and a current member and past president of Abilene Rotary.
Mr. Wyatt and his wife, Diane, have two children.
Mildred Fink
Mildred Corbett Fink, L.B.S.W., is Memorial Health System Board of Directors’ secretary. She was appointed to the Memorial Health System Board in April 2002, was elected in May 2003, and re-elected in May 2005.
Mrs. Fink is currently volunteering in the community and is a homemaker. She is a retired Social Work Supervisor from Social and Rehabilitation Services. She is a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Chapman, a member of the Parish Social Justice Committee, a member of the Improvement Committee, a member of the Historical group, a member of the St. Michaels Altar Society, and a member of the Chapman Area Preservation Society.
Mrs. Fink and her husband, George, have six children, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Frank R. Jordan
Frank R. Jordan, D.V.M., is a member of the Memorial Health System Board of Directors. He was elected to the Board in May 2001 and was re-elected May 2005.
He is a retired Veterinarian from the Abilene Animal Hospital P.A. and is active throughout the community. He serves on other boards such as the Eisenhower Foundation and the Community Foundation for Dickinson County. He is an active member of First United Methodist Church and is a current member and past president of the Abilene Breakfast Optimist Club. He also is a volunteer for Hospice and was an After School Program Volunteer for the Middle School.
Dr. Jordan and his wife, Marilyn, have three grown daughters, two of them residing with their families in Abilene.
Paul Schmitt
Paul Schmitt is a member of the Memorial Health System Board of Directors and was
elected to serve on the Board in 2011.
Mr. Schmitt is retired from the Agricultural Stablization and Conservation Service (ASCS), now called the Farm Service Agency (FSA), a subsidiary of the USDA. He served the agency for 34 years and retired as a District Director. He works part time as an insurance adjuster for Hudson Insurance Group, and has been a resident of Dickinson County for 45 years. He is a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Abilene and is a Korean War veteran.
Mr. Schmitt and his wife, Iris, have three children and seven grandchildren.
