Dr. Xavier Ng, MD

Medical Director Dr. Xavier Ng

Dr. Xavier Ng, MD, is the Medical Director of Comprehensive Pain Solutions. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Cornel University in Ithaca, N.Y. After participating in a post-graduate program and receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree, he completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich., Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany, N.Y., and Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, Calif.

Dr. Ng is a physiatrist specializing in pain management and has practiced in Kansas for more than eight years. He has a private practice as a pain and rehabilitation specialist based in Wichita and Newton. In addition, he is the Medical Director of Inpatient and Cardiac Rehab at Newton Medical Center in Newton and a staff physician at Wesley Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita.

Jan Anderson, ARNP

Jan Anderson, ARNP, is Comprehensive Pain Solutions’ Nurse Practitioner. Jan also works as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Memorial Hospital and at clinics outside of the hospital. She grew up in Washington, Kansas, and attended Fort Hays State University. She has four children and is the President of the Abilene High School Booster Club. Jan has 35 years of experience as an RN and 15 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

Rhonda Bathurst, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM)

Rhonda Bathurst, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), is the Acupuncturist for Comprehensive Pain Solutions. Rhonda graduated from Kansas State University and earned the Master of Science Degree in TCM from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA. Clinical rotations were completed at the ACTCM clinic in San Francisco, DSS Methadone Rehab Center in Oakland, CA, Charlotte Maxwell Breast Cancer Center in Oakland, CAP for homeless youth in San Francisco, and at the East West Center for Health, a Rehab Clinic in San Diego, CA. Rhonda holds national board certifications in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is professionally licensed to practice Acupuncture by the New York Education Department of Professionals and State of California Acupuncture Board. She treated patients with pregnancy-related complaints, pain complaints, and mental health issues in her Ithaca, NY private practice. She has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Oriental Medicine and join the Comprehensive Pain Solutions team in 2010.

Horace Jenkins, CRNA, MSNA

AnesthetistHorace Jenkins

Horace Jenkins, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, received his Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from the University of Kansas. He is retired from the U.S. Army and has more than 21 years of experience in the medical profession. He has been providing anesthesia/pain management services at Comprehensive Pain Solutions since 2007.

 

Lori Lang

Practice Management AssistantLori Lang

Lori Lang is the Practice Management Assistant for Comprehensive Pain Solutions. Memorial Health System appealed to her because of the quality and caring service its employees provide in a warm and friendly atmosphere. She attended college in Nebraska and was a stay-at-home Mom and farm wife for several years. Lori arranges appointments and assists patients with any questions and concerns they may have. She is active in her church and other community organizations. She is also a hospice volunteer for Hospice of Dickinson County.

Carol Ross, RN

Clinic ManagerCarol Ross

Carol Ross, RN, is the clinic manager for Comprehensive Pain Solutions, in addition to her duties as the Emergency Department Nurse Manager and Operating Room Nurse Manager at Memorial Hospital. Carol graduated from Kansas State University in 1981 and Asbury School of Nursing in 1985. She began working at Memorial Hospital in 1987. Carol has training in BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC. She is also in charge of New Project Development at Memorial Hospital.

Jeff Sanborn, PT

Physical Therapist Jeff Sanborn

Jeff Sanborn is a license Physical Therapist in Kansas and Colorado. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the Rehabilitation field. He has been with Memorial Health System Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine since 2006, and with Comprehensive Pain Solutions since 2007. His previous experience in rehabilitation and sports medicine at Southern Colorado Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pratt Regional Medical Center.

Bryan Van Meter, PA

Mid-Level Practitioner Bryan Van Meter

Bryan Van Meter has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years. He earned a bachelors degree in Health Sciences from Kansas State University and later earned a masters degree as a Physician Assistant from Des Moines Medical University. During his studies, Van Meter completed a clinical rotation with an emphasis on urgent care and emergency medicine. Before becoming a physician assistant, he worked as an EMT, flight paramedic, and paramedic trainer. He has been on several medical mission trips, traveling to Belize to train people in emergency medical services. The first training he offered was the first formalized EMS training that was given in that country.
